Meet Your New President!

Joe Bourgeois, Craftsman & ShenArts Collective President

We are delighted to announce that the Collective has a President! Joe Bourgeois, a craftsman specializing in creating furniture and cabinetry, has agreed to lead the formation of the founding Board for the cooperative.

One of Joe's first tasks will be filling out the rest of the board positions, working with the ShenArts Council to complete the build out of the store, and then helping to define the guidelines and criteria for membership in the cooperative.

There is still much work ahead. We hope to open the Collective by some time in March. We will keep you posted on our progress. In the meantime, be sure and subscribe to our distribution list so you can stay up-to-date on our accomplishments.
